Chris Fell has been selected for The Electrochemical Society 2011 Battery Division Student Research Award. The Battery Division Established in 1962 has created this award and many others in order to “Recognize promising young engineers and scientists in the field of electrochemical power sources.” The award includes a scroll, monetary prize and membership in the Battery Division. The goal of the Battery Division is to use input from Electrochemical Society members in the academic community to identify people who have developed a research record in electrochemical power sources. This award is believed to provide noteworthy recognition of past performance and give significant encouragement to talented young people who are considering research or careers in the field of electrochemical power sources.
